The maker
I build things because I have to.
Not for a living — for the love of it. Every piece I make starts with a conversation and ends with something that'll outlast both of us.
How it started
I'm Vivek — an engineer by day and a woodworker by every spare hour I can find. I started building furniture in my garage about eight years ago because I couldn't find pieces that felt truly made for the spaces I loved. Everything in the stores was either too generic or too expensive for what it was.
So I bought some tools, watched a lot of YouTube, made a lot of mistakes, and slowly got good at it. What started as a dining table for my own home turned into cabinets for a neighbor, then a bookcase for a friend, then word spread.
Today I take on a small number of custom projects each year — cabinets, furniture, built-ins — for homeowners who want something made specifically for their space. I keep it small on purpose. Every project gets my full attention.
Made to last
I use solid wood and traditional joinery wherever possible. No shortcuts, no particle board hiding behind a veneer.
Designed around you
Every piece starts with your space, your needs, and your taste. I don't have a catalog — I have a conversation.
Honest about the process
Good woodworking takes time. I'll give you a realistic timeline and stick to it. No surprises.
How I work
Conversation
We talk about your space, what you need, and what you love. I ask a lot of questions.
Design & quote
I sketch out the piece and send you a detailed quote — materials, timeline, and total cost. No hidden fees.
Build
I build your piece in my workshop, sending photos along the way so you can see it come together.
Delivery & install
I deliver and install everything myself. I don't hand it off to a third party.
Want to work together?
I take on a limited number of projects each year. If you have something in mind, let's talk.
